Black Friars

Located within short walking distance and immediately south of the Downtown, across the Thames River and along the city’s bike path system, Blackfriars is a small and intimate neighbourhood of a few hundred homes with a strong physical and social connection to the downtown. The predominant housing style is the detached bungalow on narrower lots. It is the home of Labatt’s Park, the oldest continually used baseball field in the world.

In 2012, the average selling price of homes in the Blackfriars neighbourhood was $196,261 on sales of 117 properties.
